7th Grade Choirs
Our 7th graders have the opportunity to participate in either the 7th Grade Soprano/Alto Choir or the 7th Grade Tenor/Bass Choir. Both of these choirs are curricular choirs and meet during the school day. Our Soprano/Alto Choir is directed by Mrs. Thompson and our Tenor/Bass Choir is directed by Mr. Grau. The students enrolled in these choirs will receive a 10 minute weekly voice lesson in addition to rehearsals 2-3 times a week. During rehearsal we will learn music and proper vocal techniques in preparation for the concerts given throughout the school year.
7th Grade Choir Performance Dates:
Fall Concert: Tuesday, October 11 at PV Junior High
ICDA Opus Honor Choir (select students only): Thursday, November 17
Winter Concert: Tuesday, December 13 at PV Junior High
SEICDA Honor Choir (select students only): January 12 at Assumption High School
District Choral Festival: Monday, February 6 at PV High School
ACDA Honor Choir (select students only): February 22-25
Spring Concert: Tuesday, April 18 at PV Junior High
Solo/Ensemble Festival (optional for all students): May 25 at PV Junior High
